Biggest Online Acai Health Supplement Scam ever: CCN to pay $1,375,000
On 25th June 2009, history was written in online market when Attorney General Terry Goddard sentenced a massive $1,375,000 settlement against Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc, and the owner Graham Gibson had simply nothing to protest.
This settlement was a result of the tricky online Acai health supplement product promotion scheme offered by CCN, which indirectly forced the customers who were looking for free samples, to purchase the expensive products that they did not intend to purchase. In an attempt to up-sell the expensive Acai Berry health supplements, CCN ended up in a massive $1,375,000 settlement. This has come as a huge relief to the countless customers who’ve been victims of CCN’s so-called smart online marketing and promotional strategy. After this settlement, all those who’ve already filed a case in protest to this Acai marketing scam against CCN will receive funds out of the settlement amount which includes $350,000 in consumer restitution as well as $25,000 for covering legal and investigative costs of state, apart from the colossal $1 million in civil penalties to the state.
August 17, 2009 will be the last date to make new claims for those who feel they’ve also been part of this Acai scam and deserve to get their hard-earned money back.
